Definitely worth the drive we made out there. The park was beautiful, plenty of places to stop and take a break (which was great for the kids), the bathrooms were super clean, and there were plenty of trails and places to explore. Can't wait to go back.
It is just sad that the old part of the park is closed for the last couple of years!
It was nice trails just wernt satisfying as they were beautiful but short, and the portion of the park toward the river was closed. No other water aside from a small pond. But the scenery was still lovely, the tower was cool.
Great sites, very level and large gathering area raked and fire pit cleaned at all sites. Parks hosts keep place looking neat. Very clean bathrooms. Well marked trails. I really like this state park.
Cool trails. Not very scenic though, mostly through the woods. Clean air conditioned bathrooms. Everything is very well maintained.
This is a Beautiful Park. It is the nicest Park that I have been to! The trails are all are so interesting and the cafe is Awesome.
